Waitomo - TumuTumu Toobing

Treat yourself with the best black water rafting adventure on offer. You will be walking, climbing, swimming and tubing through some of the most spectacular Waitomo underground scenery in the TumuTumu Caves. Our experienced guide will take you through a close encounter with the famous glowworms and amazing rock formations that took millions of years to create. This will definitely be an experience of a lifetime.
 

Time to Allow:     4 hours (approx 2 hours underground
Trip Frequency:   Depart daily at 2.30pm (back 6.30pm)
Minimum age:     12 years old
Minimum weight: 40 kg

You should be moderately fit and healthy. The trips are suitable for those that can bush-walk or ski for a day. Any medical condition will have to be declared at check in so that your guide will be made aware of your condition. All equipment will be provided for so all you need to bring is your swimwear and towels. Thick socks are ideal but optional as they will get wet and really muddy in the caves.
